RBC Foundation Funds the Future Materials Alliance

Momentum is building for the Future Materials Alliance. We're pleased to welcome RBC Foundation as a funder as we continue bringing partners together to advance Canada's critical materials future.

Canada has a tremendous opportunity to strengthen its critical materials value chain, but unlocking that potential requires new ways of working together. The Future Materials Alliance is creating the space for collaboration that can move promising ideas into tangible progress.

With support from RBC Foundation, we'll grow the Alliance, convene partners in key industrial corridors to identify and address shared barriers, and support Indigenous capacity-building and early engagement in regions expected to host critical materials projects of national importance.

This investment will help us move from conversation to coordinated action, building the partnerships needed to strengthen Canada's critical materials future. Thank you to RBC Foundation for supporting this important work.

We look forward to working alongside our partners to turn shared ambition into action.

We gratefully acknowledge the original territories of the Siksikáwa, Îyârhe Nakodabi, and Tsuut’ina Dene, of Mohkínstsisakápiyoyis, Wincheesh-pah, Kootsisáw, or the colonized lands which many now refer to as Calgary, where the Energy Futures Lab is headquartered. These Lands are also home to members of the Métis Nation of Alberta under the Otipemisiwak Métis Government — District 4 & 5, whose peoples have deep relationships with the land. This reminds all of us to walk in a good way and remember our commitments to Indigenous Peoples.
