Jennifer Young

Jennifer is the Founder of Melange Energy, a consultancy advising on responsible energy development and clean technology market entry. She is currently completing an MBA in Sustainable Innovation at the University of Victoria, building on a 20-year career in upstream oil and gas, with leadership roles at Suncor and Equinor.

A Professional Geoscientist and proud Newfoundlander, Jennifer brings systems-level insight across exploration, development, and environmental stewardship to Canada’s energy transition. She is also a keynote speaker and board advisor, committed to bridging traditional energy strengths with low-carbon opportunities. Outside of work, Jennifer is a dedicated mother of two, an avid soccer player, and enjoys travel and time outdoors.
