Lisa Underhill is Senior Director of Grid Operations and Transformation at EPCOR, where she leads the safe and reliable operation of the electricity grid while helping shape its evolution toward a more modern, digital energy system. With more than 29 years of experience leading technology and organizational transformation, Lisa brings deep expertise in technology architecture, automation, cybersecurity, enterprise infrastructure, and change leadership. She has led major programs focused on strengthening reliability, modernizing operations, and enabling innovation. Her career spans technology, government, and healthcare, with experience in software development, governance, audit, and organizational transformation. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Alberta.
I joined the Leadership Council because Alberta’s electricity future depends on collaboration and thoughtful modernization. As our grid evolves to meet new demands, I see value in Alberta's Electricity Futures' ability to bring diverse voices together to shape practical, future‑ready solutions.
